Fairy Tree

Written & Directed by Rod Goodall; cast of eight actors, seven with an intellectual disability Award-winning Blue Teapot Theatre Company present a magical festive treat for all ages. Fairy Tree is a humorous, charming theatre show incorporating puppetry, original music and song with a cast of eight actors, seven with an intellectual disability. It's mid-winter, the land is covered in snow and ice. The fairies are so cold they are freezing to the trees. Two young children notice them and ask the community to take the fairies into their houses to warm up. Not everyone is pleased about the idea but they agree, as long as the fairies do not overstay their welcome. But will the fairies stick to the agreement? This is a warm-hearted tale that reminds us of the importance of our relationships with each other and nature. It is a celebration and acceptance that we are all different.
