Sell tickets you can’t use — at face value, fee-free
A clashing birthday party, a sick child, a date that moved: every family knows the feeling of tickets about to go to waste. TicketLoop is where Irish parents pass spare tickets for kids’ and family events to another family at face value or less — safely, with payment held in escrow, and with no seller fee at all.
You keep 100%
No listing fee, no seller fee. Your full asking price is paid out to you — the buyer pays our small service fee, shown upfront.
Buyers are already waiting
Parents ask for sold-out shows on our wanted board and get an email the moment you list. No haggling in comment threads.
Payment held safely
Stripe holds the buyer’s money and releases it to you after the event — the protection that makes a stranger happy to buy from you.
How selling works
- 1. Pick the event and date — start typing the show name and choose it from the list.
- 2. Set your price — face value or lower, never more. That’s the law for designated events and our rule for every event.
- 3. Upload the ticket — a PDF or a screenshot. It stays private until it’s bought, and the buyer only gets it once they’ve paid.
You can list first and set up payouts (via Stripe) whenever suits — ID checks only happen when money is on its way to you.
What sells here
Tickets to kids’ and family events across Dublin, Cork, Galway, Limerick and Waterford: pantos, Santa experiences, kids’ concerts and shows, circuses and family musicals. The busiest times are the sold-out seasons — panto tickets from November to January and Santa experience bookings through December — when parents are actively waiting for someone like you to list.
Is this legal?
Yes. Reselling a ticket in Ireland is perfectly legal — what the Sale of Tickets Act 2021 bans is selling above face value for designated events. On TicketLoop you can’t list above face value for any event, so a sale here always stays on the right side of the law (and of the parent buying from you). Read our plain-English guide to the law →
Run the event yourself?
Organisers can sell official tickets directly on TicketLoop — no listing fees, you keep 100% of the ticket price, and buyers pay a 5% service fee, minimum €1.50 per order. Sell your event on TicketLoop →
Common questions
- When do I get paid?
- After the event happens. Stripe holds the buyer’s payment in the meantime — that guarantee is why buyers trust the listing.
- What does it cost me to sell?
- Nothing. There’s no listing fee and no commission taken from your price. The buyer pays a small service fee on top, shown to them before checkout.
- What if my show isn’t listed?
- Start typing the name in the sell form — nearly every kids’ event in Dublin, Cork, Galway, Limerick and Waterford is already on our books. If yours genuinely isn’t, tell us on the wanted board and we’ll track it.
- Can I sell for more than I paid?
- No — face value or less, always. It’s the promise that makes parents comfortable buying here, and for designated events it’s also the law.
Two minutes from now your tickets could be in front of every parent waiting for that show.
