Can’t make the panto? Another family will.
Panto tickets are bought months ahead — and then December happens. Chickenpox, a clashing Christmas do, a granny’s visit that moved. Every year thousands of panto seats around Ireland go empty while other parents are refreshing a sold-out box office page. TicketLoop fixes both halves: list your tickets in two minutes and every parent waiting for that panto is emailed instantly.
You keep 100%
No listing fee, no seller fee. Your full asking price is paid out to you — the buyer pays our small service fee, shown upfront.
Buyers are already waiting
Parents ask for sold-out shows on our wanted board and get an email the moment you list. No haggling in comment threads.
Payment held safely
Stripe holds the buyer’s money and releases it to you after the event — the protection that makes a stranger happy to buy from you.
The pantos parents hunt for
The big runs sell out early almost every year: the Gaiety panto and The Helix panto in Dublin, The Civic in Tallaght, axis Ballymun and the Mill Theatre in Dundrum; Cork Opera House and The Everyman in Cork; University Concert Hall and the Lime Tree in Limerick; the Theatre Royal in Waterford; Leisureland in Galway. If your tickets are for any sold-out date, there’s a very good chance a parent on our wanted board is waiting for exactly them.
How selling works
- 1. Pick the event and date — start typing the show name and choose it from the list.
- 2. Set your price — face value or lower, never more. That’s the law for designated events and our rule for every event.
- 3. Upload the ticket — a PDF or a screenshot. It stays private until it’s bought, and the buyer only gets it once they’ve paid.
You can list first and set up payouts (via Stripe) whenever suits — ID checks only happen when money is on its way to you.
Why not just post in the parents’ group?
You can — but you’ll be fielding “still available?” messages for days, arranging a bank transfer with a stranger, and they’re trusting that the PDF you send hasn’t been sold twice. Here the payment is held by Stripe until after the show, the buyer gets a refund guarantee, and you get the same money — your full asking price, no seller fee.
Wondering about the rules? Reselling tickets is legal in Ireland at face value — here’s the plain-English guide.
Oh yes you can. List the tickets now and let the next family have the magic.
