Help & FAQ

The short version: parents sell their spare tickets to other parents at face value or less, and the payment is protected the whole way. Here are the questions we get asked most.

Buying

Is it safe to buy a ticket from another parent?
Yes, because your money never goes straight to the seller. Payment is taken securely by Stripe (the same payment company behind millions of online shops) and held by us until after the event. The seller is only paid once the event has happened, so if something goes wrong the money is still there to refund you.
What happens after I pay?
The ticket is released to you straight away. You’ll find it under My Tickets in your account, ready to download, and the seller confirms they won’t use or share their copy once it sells.
What if the ticket doesn't work at the door?
If you’re refused entry over a ticket problem, you get a full refund, guaranteed. Report it from My Tickets and we’ll hold the seller’s payout while we look into it. This is exactly why payment is held until after the event.
What does it cost to buy?
Nothing on top. You pay the listed price and that’s it, and the listed price is never above face value. Our fee comes out of the seller’s side, not yours.
Is reselling tickets even legal in Ireland?
Reselling above face value is banned for designated events under the Sale of Tickets Act 2021. That’s why every listing here is capped at face value or less: it’s enforced when a seller creates a listing, so tickets on this site stay on the right side of the law (and of fairness).
The show I want isn't listed. Now what?
Join the wanted board. Tell us the show (no account needed, just your email) and we’ll email you the second a parent lists spare tickets for it.

Selling

How do I sell a spare ticket?
List it in a couple of minutes: pick the event and date, set a price at face value or less, and upload the ticket (a PDF or a screenshot). We hold the file securely and only release it to a buyer once they’ve paid. Listings close 2 hours before the event starts.
When and how do I get paid?
Stripe pays your bank account 24 hours after the event. You’ll set up payouts with Stripe once (a few minutes, and it can wait until after your ticket sells). The gap between sale and payout is the buyer’s protection window, and it’s what makes parents comfortable buying from a stranger in the first place.
What does it cost to sell?
10% of your sale price, already shown as a “you’ll receive” figure before you list. No listing fee, no charge if it doesn’t sell. It covers the payment processing, the ticket hosting and the buyer guarantee that makes your ticket sellable.
