Heritage Week Workshops: Celtic Knot Art
St Patrick's Cathedral, Dublin
Join us for a family art workshop at Saint Patrick’s Cathedral as part of Heritage Week! In this occasion, we’ll be taking inspiration from the fascinating tradition of Celtic knot designs in Ireland. Children will explore the endless possibilities of their shapes, colours, and intricate patterns before creating their own Celtic‑inspired artwork using colourful card and simple collage techniques. Recommended for children aged 6 and up. All children must be accompanied by an adult. This workshop will take place in the Deanery Mews Building, our education space located just across the road from the Cathedral. To access it, please use the door on Saint Patrick’s Close, directly opposite the churchyard. A member of staff will be there to welcome you in! Drop-in anytime between 11:00-13:00. Advanced booking is required.
